How do you keep feather dusters in place??

I purchased two feather dusters about a week ago and I can't seem to keep them in place. I have put them on the bottom near the LR and covered them about 1/2 way with sand but they keep coming out of the sand. When I place them on the LR, they have moved by the next morning. What is the best method for keeping them in place?

Try wedging it into a crevice in the LR.

Yeah, I've lost a few 'cuz I can't seem to keep them in place. Best way I've found is to stick them into a crevice in a rock deep enough so that only half of it is out.

Let them decide on the place they want to be. :)
