Roger,

I have a quick question. As you know from the other thread I recently set up a system with the Osmomat 5024 and the Tunze Calcium dispensor. My reservoir is about 25-30 liters and I put about 4 teaspoons of kalk in the dispensor 4 dyas ago. I have just about used up all the water in my reservoir (I get a fair amount of evaporation) and am going to refill it with RO/DI water tonight. I was thinking of adding another 4 teaspoons to the kalk dispensor as well, but I noticed that there is still a lot of powder in the bottom (maybe 2 -2 .5 spoonfuls). Should I wait until more of this dissolves before adding more kalk to the dispensor, or is it ok to add some more now?

Thanks!

I would probably add 2 teaspoons with every fill. Periodically- about every 3-6 months I remove my dispenser and clean it. I believe that their is some residual precipitate that forms anytime you use kalk and it isn't a bad practice to do this.

How do I get information on these products?
Sorry to bust the thread, just stumbled across it looking for a Kalk. doser for my 75 gallon and my 90 gallon. Seperate systems.
