How can I make a glass top for 24 Aquapod?

Hello, I have an 24 gallons Aquapod and I have to have an open top for my lighting fixture(20" 150w Sunpod) And I want to keep a Blue Spot Jawfish and they are know jumpers so my question is how can build a glass top for my tank or could you suggest other type of cover for my open top. I was going with the glass top since it gives a much cleaner look to the aquarium and I really don't want something to block my light! Thanks and please reply!

You will trap a LOT of heat if you put a glass top on with the sunpod. You can do eggcrate, it's pretty easy to get it to the right size. Another thing that's cool to do is make a screen top like this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F0CzorCknWQ&feature=player_embedded#!). It would take a little more work to get it to fit the curved front of the aquapod, but it is great for letting light & heat through but not critters!
