phosban reactors

I just added a carbon and phosban into 2 separate reactors instead of keeping them in media bags in the sump. I rinsed the carbon and phosban prior to placing them in the reactors. I've noticed that the water is ever so slightly cloudy. Ant thoughts to why this is and is it related to the carbon or phosban or both?:bounce1:

The haze could be from either. I wouldn't worry much. Maybe the media needed a bit more rinsing, or maybe the reactors did. I'd watch what happens when I replaced the media, and work from there.

If the cloudiness was immediate, I'd blame it on fines from the media. If it was a bacteria bloom or something similar it would at least take a day or two.
