Pretty sure my clowns in my last tank killed my flowerpot. They were constantly in it til it would never full open.

I know someone who is pretty sure he has only had his very healthy flowerpot for the past few years because his clowns host it and feed the thing.

Seen stranger things happen. Mine was very unhappy with my clowns constant harrasment.

Yeah no doubt...happens a lot with LPS too. They can be very rough on corals and anemones.

I have a green goni about that size and both my black ocellaris love it. I get full extension about midday when the clowns leave it be and the rest of the time it stays at about 50-75% Honestly it seems more bothered by the euphyllia sp. I keep next to it. I was worried at first but after a week or two everything still seems to be well. Glad to see some others have had the same experience. Are yours percs?

Mine have ignored my torch, hammers, and frogspawn. The gonipora is their favorite.

Mine came from a tank with several BTAs in it. They went to the goni within a day of being in the new tank. If your clowns are captive bred they may not have any experience hosting in anything. They probably just need some time.

I had a pair of oc. that killed my goni too. They lived in it for a while and it didn't start dying until they started "humping" it
