Title says it all, Can't decide which one to order. I will say I don't want to be limited as far as stock goes. The system will be lit by 72" fixture 3 x 150watt 14k's supplemented with actinic PC's. 75 long is 13" tall and 100 long is 17" tall. The canopy will make the lights sit about 7" off the surface. Which one would you go with?

Of these two choices I would pick the 100. You have plenty of light for a 17" tall tank. Why not go wider too?

I would go with the 100, but you may also want to think about going wider as well. I would not get a tank less than 24" again, it is too hard to aquascape.

I can't go wider, my stand is only 18" wide.

I respectfully disagree. I have a 90, and I'm glad I didn't go for the 120 for extra width. I like seeing the corals closer. The height is also great for me, only wish it was a little longer. Although I'm probably in the minority here.

Well, so far looks like the 100. I'm holding out for a few more opinions and then I'm ordering.

The 17" is better because as the corals grow they need height and the extra room is better for fish and also makes water movement easier. That extra 4" is important as is the extra water volume.

Thanks for the replies, I'm going with the 100 long. Placed my order tonight.
