New to the Mantis community

Hi there. I just set up my tank and everything has been running just fine empty. This friday I plan on introducing my first mantis and was wondering if anybody would be so kind as to give me some general tips/rules for care. I've already been through all the forums and picked up a lot of tips but anything that you feel should be stressed/reiterated would be greatly appreciated. Pictures will follow for your enjoyment and to hopefully get an ID for the little guy/girl. THANKS!

Thankies. I've fished around on Roy's ID list a few times and I'm having trouble figuring out what mine may be. He is a brick color now, about two inches long, and I know the LR in which he arrived is from Florida and Fiji.

Seems to be a lot of N. wennerae in that Florida liverock. If you can get some pics up someone here can ID it for you. Try to get a good shot of the meral spots if you can.
