What size tank? Tankmates? Water parameters?

+1. Moving around the tank like crazy is rarely a good sign, especially for a cat shark

Check your parameters, when I had my bamboo years ago it stopped eating. Turns out my ph was low, I added some buffer and he began eating immediately.

I would blame water quality if he is moving around the tank a lot, probably trying to get out of the water he is in.
Is the tank newly set up?

Definitely try squid, you can get it at whole foods and other health food stores or Asian grocery stores. Food strikes are very common especially when you first get them, so don't worry to much.

If you have access, I swear by live bloodworms. The type you buy at a bait and tackle shop. If not, live earth worms also work wonders. Mysis is the staple of newborn pups for most.

+1 on the squid. When I had my shark he absolutely loved it. I would go to the local grocery store and buy a box of whole squid for 6 bucks. Make sure you cut it into small chunks.
