I just bought a brand new tank and stand.. Want to keep a mixed reef. What lighting did you buy and how does it look.....pics please

A 20" Sunpod 150w would work great and a 250 would even be better... For old school MH's! Then of course you can spend sick $$ on a LED set-up. Would love all LED but can see $pending that much for a light over a nano... and wanna see more long-term coral growth under LED's before I make the change.

I went 150w at first and then decided to go bigger cause I wanted SPS and a clam with no issues. Fell into a 250w with the extra Evil66 custom Cree LED bars for that extra blue punch and have been very happy with it.

Just search the Solana owners thread or take a look at them over on nanoreef com and look at all the tanks there as well

I've got the 150w sunpod, switching to a 250w Aquamedic w/2x24w T5s. It will over hang a little but I'm ok with that, supplemental light is key imop.

I went all LED. pictures in the (My new solana 34) thread here. .

So far so good.
