Are there any nano size fish that won't bother a clam. I have read that Blennies maybe a problem.
Thanks.

I have a pair of Clams with a Tailspot Blenny in a 90 without a problem. I think the more apt question is what nano fish isn't safe with a clam. I have seen a Copperband Butterfly nip, but the clams are still growing.

A fire fish is safe so are clowns and damsels. What size nano are you running.

Thanks for the info.

The tank is about 20 gallons. It is currently full of a lot of boring coral and a Tailspot Blenny. I was going to get rid of the junk coral and put in the Blenny, a Clam and a couple of colorful SPS.

I've had my share of dwarf angels pester clams with regularity... most recently I've removed a kole tang that was very aggressively nipping my clams (though that is certainly not a nano tank fish).

I had a small bi-color blenny that thought it was great fun to nip at clams. When they all reopened he'd go back and nip at them again :hammer:
