Can i replace all my MH bulbs at once?

My fixture is 3x 150watt 14k...just got new Phoenix Hexarc bulbs ...can i replace all 3 at the same time..or do i have to do 1 at a time with some time in between

all at once is ok. just watch your corals. new lights = more intensity. you may have to acclimate them a bit by diffusing the light or raising your fixture if possible.

How old are your existing bulbs?

old bulbs were about 9 months old

I would go the better to be safe then sorry route with them being 9 months old (( IME with Phoenix bulbs, there is a drop off after 6 months )). You could either change one, wait a week, change the other, etc. Or you could change all 3, and put a layer or 2 of window screening b/t the tank and the lights -- wait a week and remove a layer.
