I everyone I just did a water change, with a different salt brand,,I was using
Seachem before, and my alk was reading 7dkh,, sometimes even a little lower than that, I used Salifter and Api to test my ALK, and both tested the same.
Today before I did the water change I dosed some Baked baking soda to raise my Alk(following Randy's calculator), after that I did the WC using for the first time the Aquavitro Salt, which it supposed to be a excellent salt, so I wanted to give it a try.(I never thought about the ALK)
Well I did the WC and after a few hours some corals are not looking well,
they looked stressed out, my Z/P are closed up, anemones don't look happy,
the rest look almost normal to me,,so I tested the Alk again, and it tests 9.5dkh,, so I m guessing I raised the Alk too much at once, which I have heard it's not too good,,so, I need your advice,
what should I do?,,
Should I just wait?
Is it too bad?
Please help me out.
Thanks in advanced.
