I just got some granulated GFO from Bulk Reef supply. On the web site it says to use 1 tbl spoon per 4 gals of water. I have a 29 gal Bio cube & that would mean using about a 1/2 cup in my media reactor is all. Do I want to use more or do I really want to use that small of an amount in a reactor?

You should follow the instructions and use that amount. :p

Yes, doesn't take much. & I was amazed phosphates dropped near zero in one day!

Seems odd using that little, but then again I'm not dealing with that large of a water volume I reckon:)

I'd actually start with less if the tank contained stony corals. They can react badly to rapid changes in phosphate. I might use 1/2 or 1/3 of that, and build up slowly. That's probably excessively cautious, but I try not to hurry things.
