Does anyone have any ideas on what to feed the cardinal baghai. I have had them in the past but not very successfully.

Often the wild caught ones don't eat. Best to try and find captive bred at a slightly higher price.

But if you do have wild caught what can you feed them

I just got my bangaii 2 weeks ago is wild caught and will only eat or even reconize frozen food. Hes still a little slow but hes getting the hang of it. Try feeding him Mysis or other meaty foods mine spits out any spriulia or other stuff that comes in the mixed fozen food cubes. Also try feeding him when your acantics are on or moon lights mine seems to be a little more active/agressive compared to the "daytime"

Mine loves frozen mysis. And after 2+ years he will eat some flake occasionally.

Thank you for your suggestions. What about brine shrimp? I'm not a big fan since you either have to buy it or grow it. But I thought I read somewhere it would work

I would try live brine as a last resort. Mine picked up on PE mysis instantly.

i would run some prazipro because they most likely have worms, and there appetite should return. when i buy a new fish i like to have some live brine on hand, it really helps stimulate there appetite, it may not be the healthiest but short term we just need them to eat and not waste away

i went through about a dozen WC pajama's weeding out 4 healthy ones.
