Stoopid Maxijet 900 + Biocube Question

So, when you guys say you replaced the stock BC14 pump with a Maxijet 900, do you mean the powerhead, or the utility pump? If the powerhead, how did you orient it, and what did you use to connect it to the outflow?

the powerhead. you just take the hose conected to the stock pump and connect it to the powerhead output

Thanks! Does the MJ900 go down in the same little area as the OEM pump, or does it sit above? I tried a test fit, and even without the strainer it was really tight if I put it all the way down to the bottom. Didn't seem like it would get much flow to the intake that way.
