75 planted ideas

thinking of making my 75 a planted tank never done this before
any good beginner plants that you could suggest?
not sure on my fish selection yet
any advice would be great

Hello!

most macroalgaes are very easy to care for...try and stay away from green grape (racemosa) it is a fast grower as well as taxifolia ( feather caulerpa)
prolifera is the only safe caulerpa that I have delt with.

stay away from tangs and angel fish...these will eat the macroalgaes :)

i was thinking halimeda, and maybe one called oar grass

Oar grass is actually a vascular, flowering plant, not an alga. You'll find that it's care is a bit different from algae--and that they don't always play nicely together.

you got any suggestions on types that play well together?
what about how deep the sand bed? right now i have the tanked packed with rock that will be going into my 125 when i get it setup (just moved)

i heard you can add mineral mud, anyone used this method?
