Upgrading to ES

I currently have two MP40w in my 225. Do I have to upgrade both the drivers to use all of the features of ES or can you upgrade just the master? Other than the two new modes what are the advantages to upgrading?

The manual says in it that you have to upgrade both.

Of the top of my head, you can also change the pump flow for feed and night modes (rather than being stuck with 50%). The modes are also much easier to change.

Thank you. Really does not seem to be worth the upgrade since I am happy in Reef Crest Mode and corals seem to enjoy it greatly.
