Hi, I received three 120 mm Cooler Master fans and when I connect a 12volt power supply to one of the fans the led lights but the fan blade does not spin. The power supply will work with a Silenx fan I have but will not work with the Cooler Master fan. I have three power supplies for each fan. Anyone have an explanation? Thanks in advance.

Fan might be DOA. Power supply you have should be sufficient to run it. Use another power supply see if it runs if not then it might be deffective.

Thanks for responding. I tried each of the three fans with a different power supply and the leds light but the blades do not spin. Kind of unusual that the three fans would be defective which is why I posted on rc. Thanks for the help, i will return the fans for replacements.

Try posting a pic of the connectors you are using. Have you tried turning your computer off and plugging it into the computer to see if it works that way?

Have you verified the polarity of the power supply to the polarity shown on the second coolermaster connector?

Yes, I tried switching the wires but did not work.
