Not very long 3 maybe 4 months??? I am kind of sad that the xenia is killing my zoas

You can eliminate the xenia by slicing it off as close to the rock as possible then smearing the remaining flesh with kalk paste. Wait a few days and if any remains, repeat the kalk smear. Worked for me. ;)

Nice looking pico otherwise.

+1 xenia should be trimmed frequently in a pico. In my tank xenia became such a pain that I gave up trimming it and sold it all to an LFS for $85.

It is now ;) and it's here to stay. I think I will just let it take over completely. To be honest the Zoas were not showing the best growth in there anyway.

Love that one rock plastered with coralline. My rock has barely started to "purple up".

Thnx the rock on the left came out of my 125 lagoon. It seems like it can take awhile to get the right kinda Coraline growing but once it does oh man!!!

The rock on the left in the pic below is lava rock so it had nothing to start but look at it now :inlove:
