APEX Lite Aqua Illumination LED controlability

I am about to order two Aqua Illumination LED modules and I was wondering what I can control with the LED's. I know on the proflux controller you can simulate.
sunrise, sunset, cloud coverage, and thunderstorms.
Can a Apex Lite do this?
Or would I have to get the original version?

Thank you. Looks like the APex can do what the proflux can do. I will be looking into getting one of these in the near future.
