A lesson; used the chemiclean for 48 hours as instructed. Added aeration, turned off skimmer, carbon and GFO reactor. Did the water change after using it and replaced carbon, turned on GFO. Now I have other problems; cannot get skimmer Vertex IN-100 to work. The sump skimmer will overflow with the lowest setting. Bubbles keep rising in cup and large numbers of microbubbles in display tank. Be sure that you really need it before adding it to your tank. It has changed the foaming characteristics of the salt water that the skimmer uses. My Goniopora also did not like the Chemiclean. It retracted while using it but is now back to normal. My 4 line wrasse jumped into the overflow while treating and was a bear to catch and now has some tail damage. Anyone else have any observations on Red Slime remover.
