I hate my job ... no wait i always liked what i do i hate the corporate monster that now runs my life. my Daughter goes to college next year hopefully a 5 year masters program and then i can leave until then i must continue to suffer the toils of bean counters from texass . its funny first 20 yrs flew by but the next five will feel like 30.
I know i am not the only one out there but just needed to vent. thanks

at least you can leave , what i five years you can live off her money..lol. or you retire ...i have 22 yrs to retire so dont feel bad ...lol.. ill tell you a little secret . we all hate our jobs . thats why its called a job . how do you think i feel on a 20 degree day 200 feet in the air on a tower so the police can run your plate from there car , a warm car ..

yeah yeah i know someone always has it worst but i did really used to love my job.
to top my night off just found out my niece has a small brain tumor and is being operated on Thursday. everyone please pray for her.

sry to hear that. yes other people do have it much worse indeed . my family will pray for her and her family , thats got to be tough...we wish her the best !

Perhaps you could talk to your boss? Let him know you might want to try something different. What do you do? For as tight as the market is many places are looking for people W critical skills.
