I currently have a 3ft tessalata eel that has forarm thickness I've had since he was a spigetii noodle. Out of curiosity dose anyone have lg eels together now? The big question is can he ever live with another eel?

I wouldn't try it, almost any other eel besides the Tess I may risk it, but those things are just down right mean. Do you have any other fish with him?

There is a video on YouTube of one biting a dragon eel so that tells u how aggressive they r. I have heard of them ripping fish to shreds when not fed properly

Since he was tiny, he has been with a Louti skunk grouper and a queen trigger. Surprisinly the grouper offed my trigger out of no where a month ago. I was watching tv noticing that my queen was hiding and then the grouper was molling the trigger eating his eyes out killing the queen withng minutes. The trigger was about hand size and the grouper a tad smaller. I never saw it coming or I could have moved either them to seperate tanks but had no time. I didn't know groupers could be so aggressive, I do now however I thought they were more predatory like the old if it cant fit it in its mouth it will leave it alone.

I had a really laid tessy a while back... what I hear from most other people is that that specimen was an exception to the rule. If you do go with another eel, pick on that's the same size and consider rearraging the rock a week or so prior... most eel fights are territory related, and if your existing tessy doesn't feel like he 'owns' any of the rockwork, he'll be less likely to defend it.
Helps to have a stick ready when you're introducing the new guy... you might have to break up a fight :)
