MH vs. T5

What would be a better light setup for a 60 cube:

6 bulb hydrofarm t5

-or-

250w sunpod with phoenix 14k

As far as corals go, there will be a little of everything.

depends on what your trying to keep. what are the tanks measurements.

There will be sps, lps, and softies in the tank. Probably a clam as well.

i personally like the shimmer effect of MH but the color combination of t-5`s are hare to beat. you could retrofit both so you get good par on the sand bed and the color combination to your liking

I thought about that too but didn't want the electricity of a 250w and 2 t5's. How would a 150w mh with 4 t5's compare?

t5s are much more cost effective and i have switched all my tanks over . they work great and use much less electricity .
