I just want to say that if anyone is looking for one of these this one was great to install, very easy setup, built solid and easy to follow instructions.

I do have one questions I assume that phosban is suppose to sit about 3" from the bottom and just mix around.

My understand is that the media should be rolling is this correct.

I have never used one before so just want to make sure.

Will have to do testing on my levels over the next few days.

That flow in the video is way to fast Do NOT run the media made for it like that OMG
It will turn to mush lemme read this from the instructions for You because you can not follow that video.
PhosBan Media (Julian sprungs formula)- Phosban can be rinsed before use , But it is Friable (breaks easy) Do not stir the granules , which would pulverize them.Phosban is best used without a media mag in an upflow filter, such as TWO Little Fishies Phosban reactor , and the flow must be reduced sufficiently to Prevent the granules from tumbling , which would grind them into powder .
Operating Instuctions for Phosban 150
This is taken from section 4.. bottom half of paragraph . Adjust the flow with the ball valve so that the Phosban granules are tumbling slightly at the surface only.
-Taken from section 5 .Every week open the valve for a few seconds and then return it to the normal operating position. This will stir up the media briefly and prevent caking or channeling.
