Hi guys new to the forum! :wavehand:
I'm sort of new to the hobby but have done well over a year's worth of research and spent countless hours trying to make sure I do things right. :spin2:
I have a 55g standard size tank with 90 pds of live/base rock a 40/50 combo, 15g sump w/ skimmer and small refugium compartment with live sand and rock at the moment. But my question is lighting. I spent the better part of the last 3 weeks looking for affordable light, truth be told it doesn't exist if you buy from a retailer, any retailer that isn't from China.
I recently decided to look at second had refurbished fixtures from E-Bay and ended up buying this Current Nova Extreme fixture. Paid for it this morning, was a fairly decent price. I got it for 119+25 shipping but now I'm having second thoughts. See the light is what they call a class B refurbished unit and although I did buy direct from the manufacture (CurrentUSA) I'm wondering why it was returned. Anyway does anyone have or has seen this unit? Think I made a mistake?
