OMG, I just noticed one of my clowns is not doing well. Both eyes are bulging, stomach is very distended. Trying to eat but can't, spits food out. I have had this pair for almost 6 years and they were at least that old or older before I got them. Any ideas what it is and any plan of action?
Help plz

Hospital Tank, with a quickness,,treat with formalin, two drops per gallon eveyother day for up to 10 days on the tenth day do a water change a quater of the total amount of water in tank. Important: stop treating as soon as everything goes to normal

decided to try and do something instead of waiting and hoping. Put him in a freshwater dip for 3 min, then in to a quarantine cooler with his existing tank water. He was dead in 15 minutes. Didn't even have time to put any medicine in. Can't explain what happened other than maybe the dip had some effect on his internal organs. During the dip he looked fine, very calm, did not look stressed more than the obvious. Oh well..............

Just had the same thing happen today. Cinnamon clown was fine this morning, this evening when I was feeding he had both eyes bulging and covered with a bluish film, fins nipped up from other fish. I pulled him out of the tank. Is this contagious? Do I need to do anything to my main tank?

Thanks,
