Does Vertex sell replace filters for their RO/DI units?

Hi Bill,

I believe they do, however we do not stock their exact filters, as we carry our own complete line through Spectrapure. Was there one in particular you were after?

Not really as I'm just trying to replace the filters and want to make sure I get the same production with my new filters and thats why I was trying to order their filters. I dont understand why sell an RO/DI and not have replacement filters for them. Just seems odd to me.

I tried contacting them but havent heard back. Below is the data on filters they list on their website.

TECHNICAL DATA
■GE-100 GPD membrane
■5 µ polypropylene sediment cartridge
■0. µ carbon block cartridge
■High capacity resin DI cartridge

DI is DI so I'm not so much worried there, its the others.

Does GE have various 100 GPD membranes?

Can you recommend what to get?

Hi Bill,

GE does not make their own membranes, they are OEM'd for them. It's the exact same membrane as this one:

We do not offer a 5micron sediment filter, but we do have the 1micron, which can be found here:

The carbon filter is a 5micron now, which is the same one as this:
