I've had a green slimer for about 7 months. It seems to grow more out than grow up in branches, just wondering if this is normal. Otherwise it's in great health.

I would think that a good part of it is your water movement in the tank and possibly the lighting to an extent...

It is in a med-high flow area.

Corals grow in weird ways sometimes. And for the most part it is out of your control. Check the way this acro has grown. Lighting did not change during time of these pics and flow has always been high, random and changing. Pics all of the same coral as it grew.
