So I am pretty new to the apex and am still trying to figure everything out. I don't have a fish room, but I have a closet about 4 foot from one side of my tank. I've been working on mounting everything and it looks great. My issue is, the temp cord is too short and Im sure the PH cord is to short. Are there extension cable for these? If not, could I just get a long USB cable and mount a PM1 box under my stand and plug the 2 sensors to it? I will already be using a PM2 box for water on the floor sensors, but that will only give me an additional temp, no PH.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I would extend the cables on the probes as a last resort. If you can mount a PM1 where you can use the standard length cables, I would go that route. Also, why can't you use the inputs on the PM1 for the water on floor sensors?

I figured just using the PM1 would be best. Well I already bought the PM2 at Curts advice. I told him what I wanted to control and do with my system and he sent me a list of what I should buy.

What kind of water on the floor sensors do you have? I am looking for some...
