Hey All,
I have a question on my sump that was just built...
i have (3) 1.5 inch drains entering the sump on the left side... the chamber is about 6 inches long... then there is a baffle at 10.5" high...the water will flow over the baffle..this is to eliminate the violence of the drains...
then the next area is a sump area for 20 inches and then a baffle 10" high
i am looking to maintain 10 inches in the sump area....
the question is ,,,,, is the first baffle too high? will that cause turbelence in the skimmer area?
I am thinking that the first baffle should be maybe 8 inches or so high so the water is stable entering the skimmer and then the baffle after the skimmer will maintain 10 inches...
drains.... baffle ..... skimmer .....baffle pump return area
10.5 " 10"
