ATI and Apex questions

I just got in my ATI fixture and I also got the Apex controller. The fixture is 6x54watts and I did get the dimmable fixture. It will be going over a 90 gallon that is 48" tall 18" deep and 25" tall. I have all LPS right now but in the near furture will be getting some SPS. But my question is should I program the lights to start at about 60% and ramp up to 100% or should they be turned down because the LPS and they are all on the bottom. Also what should my light schedule be?

have you tried the sponsor forum on here for Neptune? I have the SunPower non-dimmable ballasts 6x54w and started it 10" above the water; previously had metal halides though. Everything seems fine still
