I just picked up a NC24 that I am planning on using for a small mixed reef centered around my clownfish. I was wondering if the Viper 70W would be enough for LPS and also would it heat the water too much if I dont buy the version with the fan. I am not sure if I want to go with a glass top or no top at this point, but any advice would be appreciated!

I'm sure LPS would be fine under it, and it shouldn't heat the water too much... There are much better light options, but I think yours is sufficient for those corals.

Would you recommend the fishneedit 150w fixture? That is in the right price range as well.
