1. What are the dimensions of your tank?

2. What exactly is the fixture? ie 2x250w halide? etc..

3. How much rock work do you have? How close to the top of the aquarium will the LPS be able to be positioned?

What brand is the fixture? Have you upgraded the bulbs from stock? Assuming this is a standard 72"x24"x30" 210g, your current fixture will work fine if you wanted to restrict your LPS to the upper half of the tank. You could always start there and see how some frags do at the bottom later on.

If you want to be sure you can grow LPS anywhere, adding a pair of 36" T5s to each side (giving you 16 lamps) will definitely be enough. (2x48" T5s to the front and back would be even better if you have room).
