Hi
Just wondering is you think a mp60 would be to much for a 60"x18x24" peninsula full sps reef. I would place it facing the overflow. I had 2xmp40es on it before but switched to 2 tunze 6105's so I could have more flow options due to the limitations I had from the plumbing and overflow at one end. I do really like the tunzes but I have a few dead spots and I miss the undertow in the tank:( lol let me know your thoughts

Cheers
Ray

Ray-
You would have to turn it down but it wouldn't be a bad idea if that's the pump that appeals to you the most. We use an MP60 turned ALL the way down in a 70 gallon and it's a ton of flow but it definitely works and we've been getting great SPS growth. The nice thing about an MP60 turned down is that it's going to be ultra quiet.

Tropic-
Same advice as Ray.

Thank you for the response! I'll be picking one up as soon as I can get my hands on one:) I plan on doing an upgrade in a year so using one now would also soften the financial blow when setting up the bigger tank:)
