Hi guys,

I have an big pink/green open brain, it's very nice, but it's shrunk for the last three weeks and do not puffy any more, I thought was because I increased my lights a bit.

Today I took it to look at the skeleton on the bottom. and I saw a lot of tiny "bug", look like small fleas. The bugs enter in small holes that has in the skeleton, for me they are eating inside of the brain, the mouths are open now, spitting out a goo.

Any advice? May be put it in fresh water for a while.

Thanks guys.

Well the good news is there is zero sign of recession underneath. As for the pictures, it's kind of hard to tell if they're flatworms, some sort of pod, or what. Easiest thing is to try a gentle dip quick if you think they're causing issues, like revive. Any pictures of it during the day?

I agree with above post. I would think you issue is the light increase. They are very sensitive to high light. also expelling its host algae is a sign of too much light. I would not think it would expel anything if it were being eaten. To me they look like some sort of flatworm. Iodine dip should kill them.
