Hey all,

I was just wondering if its possible to grow food for corals like zooplankton or what ever corals eat in the liquid stuff you put in your tank.

If I could it would be great.

If so how? do i just buy some live food and put them in a 10 gallon?

Thanks guys!

You can quite easily grow phytoplankton and rotifers. There are a ton of threads on the subject.

Actual foods that I grow are copepods and brine shrimp. The copepods (Tigger pods) are just in an aquarium (plastic shoebox) and get some ground up flake every now ant then. Brine shrimp are similiar but are fed whole wheat unbleached flour. The brine won't be very nutritous but can be enriched or just a treat.
