PC light fixture directly on glass cover?

One of the legs broke on my PC light fixture, so i was wondering if its ok to just sit the light on top of the glass aquarium cover?

wattage is 4x96 power compact daylight bulbs

I have PC and T5 lights directly on the glass. No Problem, but the lights do have a fan. R
