Unfortunately it was so late i was only able to get half the water i needed from the lfs... any idea on wut to do with the fuge? I tried taking the macro algae out and putting it in the tank but the powerhead is too strong so im not too keen on dumping the whole fuge, sand and all, into the tank. I've been switching water between the 2 but slightly worried about wut happens when i go to bed... thanks

I'd not recommend transferring the sump to the DT either. Got some pics of the setup?

Sorry, unable to load any pics right now. Its a 36g bowfront. It has a 2g hob fuge with lots of macro (still see lots of life yah!), i got a remora skimmer with the max jet 1200 and lastnight i used the korelia rated 750gph to keep the main tank water constant. I'm having problems finding 30" lights for a bowfront, the halide bulb is in the middle of every unit I've seen even remotely close to fitting... does anyone know where to find a smaller fixture that has 2 bulbs, or at least 1 on the side
