My diy skimmer so far, some input please.

Hello all,

This build was originally supposed to be a bk mini clone but I had some problems cutting and shaping the 2.5" acrylic I'd gotten for the neck. I bought all the material for the that build so this is going to be similar in dimensions. It will have a 6" collection cup with a 4" neck. The body will be 6" tube 3" high and on top of that will be cone that is 12" high, 6" at the base and 4" at the top. All together this thing should be about 22" tall and will have an internal psk2500 with a red demon pinwheel. I don't know too much about skimmers but I like to build things and I was just going to copy a build that I'd come across. Now that I've had to change a few thing I thought maybe I should get some feed back before I get too carried away, so any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.

And the cone, it looks a little weird but that is just the residue from the wax paper I used while it was in the oven.

Thanks, and any ideas on what I should be considering? Like I said, I don't know too much about skimmers. I need a new one and it gave me the opportunity build something so I went for, although a bit blindly.
