Small White curls everywhere...

So my tank is about 4 months old and I am starting to see small white curls everywhere! It's not really a problem and it doesn't bother me... But just wondered what there were?

They may be spirorbid worms. Whatever they are it's a good thing :D Do they look like this up close?

Yeah, just like that. Hard, with an open end that's on the end of the curl.

Yeah, just like that. Hard, with an open end that's on the end of the curl.Yep then that's what they are. Just a sign a your tank is becoming established. My personal preference is to encourage as much life as possible. That means I avoid getting fish that would wipe out worm/sponge/pod populations.

Are they the same thing as vermetid snails? Similar?
