We now have a pair of clowns in the tank, and I'm starting to research what kind of coral to put in for them to host on. I've heard that they will typically host on things like Frogspawn, Hammer, and Torches. Are any of these appropriate for a new tank, as in only a few weeks to a month old? My lighting is not great yet, so I'll need something that can do well in moderate light.

Personally, I'd wait a couple months. The tank is still very young and may go through some algae problems that may not be good for the coral.

Mine frogspan hosts mine when you're ready though. They like my trumpets too. Heck, they even hang out in my leathers.

+1 on Misled

Hairy mushrooms would also be a good easy coral that some clowns may host and in my experience shrooms are a great early addition to a tank that may not be mature enough for other coral species

Anthellia - was a coral my false percs hosted ( note this coral can become invasive)

shoot, my tank 1.5 month old, brown algae starting to disappear. But I have put in mushrooms, yellow polyps and Zoanthus. They seem to be okay except for the zoanthus cause I didn't drip it, it was my first coral a mistake done by me. Would my corals be ok??

those are not bad corals to have in early
they are pretty tolerant of a wide range of water conditions

its the more sensitive species that its best to wait until tank is mature to introduce in my opinion

Frogspawn is easy, and looks (to your house guests) like an anemone. A true perc will often host it.

I had a pair of clowns that would hang out in my colt coral. They would never venture to far from it.
