Hi

this millepora is since 2 month in my tank, started with bad PE and color, 1 month ago it started to slime at that side and now there are no polyps anymore, i think the damage occurs in 3-4 Weeks ago.

I dont know if theres a slow progression of this damage, its not like 3 weeks ago and no sliming for sure, but i cant tell if theres a very slow progression to the rest of the coral.
btw that side gets a bit less light and a bit less stream but defintley enough to not degenerate like that.

is this rtn? or some pests? what should i do? clip the healthy rest and re-glue?

thanks for helping

It's not easy to see i guess you are referring to the white like spots at the end where the polyps should come out.

Well its not RTN, it it was the coral is dead now. However i don't know what it is and if you need to fix it.

hi

the damage is not punctual, im referring to the whole right side of the coral, u can see the polyps are missing and the structure of the sps tissue is not "structured" anymore like is hould on healthy corals..... but its not white and no algae growing on that damaged areas... should i frag the coral or just wait?

ah and by the way, its not the cribrinopsis crass anemone which could sting the mille, in the pic it looks quit near, but theres approx 10-15cm between them..

I don't think it's RTN either. Looks like it's not getting enough flow on that side. You might want to move it.

maybe more flow and a little less light
