I have a friend with a trio of pjcardinals that are terrorizing his other fish. It all started when they started breeding. So I was thinking, what if I put them in my sump. There is nobody for them to pick on and lots of pods to eat. I was thinking the benefit would be when they breed the babies will be pushed back up into the tank and feed the corals and fish.
My question, would the food required to maintain the 3 cardinals out weight the benefit of the babies?
Does anyone here have cardinals that breed? if so how often do they release babies?
