So I need some help with lighting, I have a few restrictions which make it difficult. As I am about to get married I need the light to be:

1. Inexpensive
2. Sleek and modern ( It's going on a used Elos I nabbed cheap.)
3. Capable of keeping Softies and LPS (so it does not need to be powerful)

Just wanted to see what everyone thought, I don't want a super powerful light as I am not keeping sps and don't see a reason for a high power-bill.

17x17 X ?

Depending on depth a single Par 38 (http://www.marinedepot.com/Ecoxotic_PAR38_LED_Aquarium_Lamp_LED_Light_Bulbs_for_Saltwater_Reef_Aquariums-Ecoxotic-XX06850-FILTBULD-vi.html) would work. There are several vendors so look around for best pricing/product. Upfront price may seem high but with a hypothetical effective life of 50,000 hours and low power cunsumption it's cheap to own/run long term.

As far as sleek and modern, that's up to you to find the appropriate fixture to hold the bulb.
