They just released those last week, I've been looking for feedback and reviews but none so far (I haven't been actively searching them out either though). I'd wait for the feedback to come in, there's no telling about the quality of the optics or whatever else.

my 36 gallon corner is 24 inches deep. I have no optics. All I have is a Lux meter, so the best data I can give you is in lumes. Not the most helpful, but it at least gives you a rough estimate of total light output. I know that PAR is much better, but I don't have the cash to buy a PAR meter.

Old currant usa 14k 150w metal halide
3 inches: 11,000 lux
12 inches: 6,000 lux
24 inches: 2,000 lux

LED
3 inches: 10,000 lux
12 inches: 6,000 lux
24 inches: 3,000 lux

you can see why they say led penetrate a bit better than metal halide my fixture took about $300 to make, and is compatible with most aquarium computers like profilux. I have seen great colors, and growth in my sps.
