Really close to pulling the trigger on the SC 2060 or the next bigger model for my heavily stocked 175...anybody out there have these that can convince me? I have a ER RS 250 running it right now but with my fish and feeding needs growing I'm having some HA issues.

Marine Depot is my best source right now...any feedback is appreciated.

I liek the high air intake, the smallish footprint, the fact that 7-8" of sump water is ideal, and their rep....price, well as long as yout get what you pay for...

i always look at the cost of a replacement pump because they do break and how ready avaliable parts are

The TC are huge and if I had the space I'd do the external, but the SC versions are compact and just seem right. The only real concern is to do the SC 2060 that is rated at 375 heavily stocked (mine is 170 gal net and is HEAVILY stocked with fish and sps) or the SC 2560 which draws in about 400L more air than my ER RS 250 is rated at, but it is for 500gal heavily stocked.

Any other comments/thoughts?

Finzz--you are currently running an SC 2060? Are than any microbubbles that exit the skimmer?

IMO for that much money I would look into ATB or Warner Marine Skimmers.. maybe an 8.5 deluxe or 10.5 deluxe.. They have good service at ATB and WM.. I havent heard much of these new deltecs but the older models were popular and well built.. good performance too..
