New to the hobby. 125 gallon reef setup established just under three months ago. Only inhabitants include a X-mas wrasse, female bluejaw trigger, 1 chromis, cleaner shrimp, blood shrimp, sand sifting star, standard snails, minimal hermits. Yesterday, I added a cherub angel after QT... did great, nobody bullied him at all, continued to eat mysis, social, barely hid, ... last saw him early this AM before the lights came on and then the remainder of the day no trace of him. Is it standard for them to hide for any length of time? I just didn't think it'd be victim to what I have... nothing in the overflow, sump, etc. Don't feel like tearing down all of the aquascaping just yet, but feeling a bit deflated about this. Any input would be appreciated.

Oh, and I don't have an anemone for the record.

He probably is just hiding. Sometimes new fish will do this for a period of time.
