I am dipping my toes into the waters of advanced programming with my Apex. I want to eliminate the Tunze 7096 controller by programming the Apex unit to vary the speed and alternate on/off with my 6105s. I have two of them. My question is what outlets on the EB8 do I plug each 6105 into? Other than plugging them into one of the six solid state outlets, are there any other particulars as to the location on the energy bar to take advantage of this programming feature?

You don't need to use EB8 outlets for Tunze pumps... just power them into an always-on AC power source. Connect the Apex Variable Speed port(s) to the control input on the pump(s) using the proper Neptune cable. Of course you can power the pumps from the EB8 if you want to, but you could probably find a better use for the EB8 outlets... we never seem to have enough of those, do we? ;)

Thank you for explaining that to me. I was not clear on the hardware required to do this stuff.

Best regards,
