So I had been wanting a clam for a while, but there was a sale recently and I picked up both of these beauties for $20 each! I thought this was a steal!

This was my first time taking top-down pictures, so please excuse the blur/ water distortion/ glare. They are both absolutely stunning from above, especially the crocea.
They seem to have adjusted well. Now my only question has to do with their placement. I was under the impression that since they are both very light demanding species compared to other clams, they would need to be higher up (at least midway up) in my tank. I have 4x T5HO over a 30 gallon tank. They have both attached to the bottom and seem to be content. Is there any particular signs I should watch out for that notify that I should move them higher to get more light?
Thanks,
Bryan
